Lice Stoppers, LLC is owned and operated by Amy McConville, a mom of five children in Vienna, Virginia. She knows what it feels like to learn that lice have invaded family life. She also knows that, with compassionate, safe, pesticide-free treatment, she can return families to life without shame or finger-pointing. Confidentiality is assured.
Megan Sanders
Megan’s journey with Lice Stoppers began in 2020 when her family of six (including a 7 month old baby!) discovered they had lice. Amy’s compassionate, calm approach turned a stressful experience into a manageable one, and Megan never forgot it. When the opportunity arose to join Lice Stoppers, she didn’t hesitate.
As mom of four children between the ages of 6-14, Megan understands firsthand the panic that can come with a lice discovery, and the relief that follows when someone knowledgeable and kind shows up at your door. She is dedicated to providing that same experience for every family she serves.
Megan lives in Great Falls, Virginia and has deep roots in the Northern Virginia and Maryland communities, having grown up in the Chevy Chase/Bethesda area. She is an active volunteer at Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) school and parish in Vienna, and several Northern Virginia preschools. Like Amy, Megan is Virtus-trained and background checked, so families can open their doors with complete confidence.
